Command Code GOAT or AIReiter: how to decide
Go with AIReiter if
- You want Kimi, GLM, MiniMax, DeepSeek, Qwen and Gemini models on one key that works with both OpenAI- and Anthropic-style agents.
- You already have an agent you like (Claude Code, opencode, Cline) and do not want another CLI.
- You want a bill that never grows: AIReiter has no extra credits, so when a window is used up you wait for it to free up or switch models.
- You want per-model caps that stop one expensive model from draining the whole month.
Go with Command Code GOAT if
- You want to buy extra credits that roll over and never expire once the monthly budget is gone.
- You need zero data retention you can enforce on every request.
- You use models AIReiter does not carry, such as Claude, MiMo, LongCat, Tencent Hy or Step.
- You want free models that keep working after your paid credit is spent, or servers in the EU or Singapore.
Command Code alternative: questions and answers
What is a good Command Code GOAT alternative?
If you want to keep the agent you already use, the AIReiter Coding Plan is $10 a month for Kimi, GLM, MiniMax, DeepSeek, Qwen and Gemini models, each with its own cap, over OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible APIs. Claude and GPT models are not on the plan; GOAT includes Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 at low credit.
How does Command Code GOAT pricing compare?
Command Code GOAT is $10 a month for $70 of credit: $14 per 5 hours, $35 per week and $70 per month. AIReiter is $10 a month for $12 per 5 hours, $30 per week and $60 per month, with a cap for each model.
Can I buy extra credits on AIReiter?
No. Command Code sells pay-as-you-go credits that never expire; AIReiter does not sell any. Once a limit is reached the API answers HTTP 429 until the 5-hour window frees up or the weekly or monthly budget resets.
Do I need the Command Code CLI to use AIReiter?
No. AIReiter has no CLI of its own. Set your agent's base URL and API key to the AIReiter Coding Plan values and keep using Claude Code, opencode, Cline or any tool with OpenAI or Anthropic support.
Does AIReiter offer zero data retention like Command Code?
Not as a switch. Command Code marks most models as zero data retention and lets you enforce it with CMD_ZDR=1. If that guarantee matters for your work, Command Code is the safer choice today.
Is AIReiter connected to Command Code?
No. AIReiter is run independently and has no partnership with Command Code. The name appears here only to identify the plan we compare against.
